Contract Carrier Division Quaboag Tranfer Inc. is a contract carrier (MC #163532) operating flatbed and van equipment. We are one of the largest contract carriers based in New England generating approximately 20,000 loads annually. Our traffic lanes are North-South from New England to Florida and East-West to Illinois. We are a general commodities carrier transporting a wide range of building materials, steel, base metals, manufactured products, and household goods. Transportation Brokerage Quaboag operates a transportation brokerage division (MC #163532A) which networks with over six-hundred national/regional scope motor carriers. This sizeable carrier pool ensures consistent year round equipment availability. Our extensive knowledge of backhaul traffic lanes enables us to provide you with very economical cost per mile rates to most destination areas in the U.S. and Canada. Container/Pigvan Drayage Quaboag operates a container/pigvan drayage division that provides drop/pull and pickup/delivery from The Port of Boston to locations throughout New England. We also provide empty container repositioning services from intermodal yards in MA and The Port of Boston to port facilities in Quebec, Ontario, and Nova Scotia, Canada. Quaboag possesses over-weight permits for intra-state Massachusetts shipments enabling us to haul payloads up to 60,000 pounds.
